Industrial odor control
A persistent odor may come from a pumping station, wastewater plant, extraction hood, cold room or industrial process. The solution depends on which compounds cause it, how much air moves through the system and when emissions occur.
Grupo 7 designs treatment around the actual stream: capture, ducting, ozone oxidation, contact time, residual ozone control and result verification. Ozone is generated on site and applied where it can react inside the process, with occupied areas protected from uncontrolled release.

Applications
We select the system architecture around the source and existing process. A kitchen hood, gas scrubber and wastewater stream need different approaches.
For a captured air stream, ozone may be introduced into the gas phase, the scrubber's recirculating water or both. We assess compounds such as hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) and certain volatile organic compounds (VOCs), as well as airflow, temperature and available reaction time.
Inlet works, tanks and pumping areas can release changing odor loads. Air capture and treatment must fit the water process. If odor is associated with the effluent itself, the application may use a hydraulic stage with mixing, contact and off-gas management.
Professional kitchen exhaust may need odor treatment before discharge. We review grease, temperature, duct cleaning, airflow and the space available for mixing and reaction. Treatment takes place within the duct or a contained unit, away from occupied areas.
In cold storage, odor can coexist with moisture and microbial activity. Treatment planning must consider the stored product, room volume, air distribution, staff access, scheduling and conditions before re-entry.
System engineering
In a tower or duct, we define the injection point, mixing with captured air and the available reaction path. Generator output alone does not define performance: contaminant load, humidity, temperature and flow variation also matter.
Where a scrubber already exists, ozone addition to its recirculating water can be studied. For odor associated with wastewater, we evaluate the hydraulic application point, transfer through a Venturi or another method, contact time and undissolved gas management. Testing and water chemistry guide the choice.
Assessment and results
We first locate emission points and review operating data. If the problem changes by shift or season, the design must cover those conditions. Complex applications may call for laboratory or pilot testing before final sizing.
The verification plan can compare inlet and outlet conditions, H₂S or other relevant compounds, exhaust flow and odor observations using the same method before and after treatment. Residual ozone is also monitored at appropriate points. We do not promise one universal removal percentage; acceptance criteria are agreed for each installation.

No. It belongs in a system with capture, mixing, contact, controls and off-gas management. Equipment sized for one scrubber may be unsuitable for a hood or pumping station.
H₂S is among the compounds assessed in deodorization towers and wastewater stations. Reduction depends on concentration, flow, mixing, reaction time and the other components of the gas stream.
For industrial odor control, we prioritize a captured stream or contained treatment system. Monitoring, ventilation, interlocks and access procedures are designed to protect people.
It is an option to evaluate. We review tower condition, air and water flows, injection location, materials and existing controls before specifying an upgrade.
