RO and ultrapure-water tanks

Stored reverse-osmosis, distilled or polished water may need microbiological control without compromising downstream use. Ozone can be applied in recirculation or before the use point.

Assess tank volume, turnover, material, required purity and downstream process sensitivity. Monitor transfer and residual; where the end use cannot accept oxidant, include a removal step before use.

Fire-water storage tanks

Fire-water reserves can remain stored for long periods. Ozone recirculation can be assessed to limit deterioration without interfering with the emergency function.

The priority is preserving fire-system availability, pressure and reliability. Any treatment is designed as an auxiliary loop with material compatibility, isolation, interlocks and coordination with fire-safety personnel.

Surface washing

Ozonated water can be assessed for washing compatible floors, equipment or surfaces within a documented cleaning program.

Physical soil removal is separate from the hygiene stage. Review materials, contact time, application method, ventilation and worker safety; validate the protocol on the actual surface.
